NYT Bestselling Author Michelle Icard
Michelle Icard is the New York Times bestselling author of two books and national speaker on middle grades development. After serving as a leader for several seasons/sessions of Michelle’s popular “Hero’s Pursuit” social leadership program for middle school boys, I got the opportunity to collaborate with Michelle on the following:
- Develop an online, interactive course on Teachable.com as a companion to her 2021 release, “Fourteen Talks by Age Fourteen,” which is currently live and available for purchase.
- Updating the Hero’s Pursuit leader guide with new games/activities and redesigned session structures
Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home
NLH contracted with Long Run Communications to produce its 2019 annual report. We partnered with an outstanding graphic designer (Cake and Ehle Studio) and developed the content outline, conducted all necessary interviews with clinicians and executives, and wrote all the copy for the piece. Long Run Communications has also developed a series of print and digital ads for a campaign that launched after the report was published, and provided ongoing content development services, social media consultation, and more for this capitol-region health care system.
Bethany Village contracted with Long Run Communications to develop updated and compelling marketing materials that would communicate the organization’s unique offerings in the eldercare and senior living marketplace. We partnered with an outstanding graphic designer (Sharkey Designs) for and delivered a new collection of ads. We are also working with Bethany Village to update its social media presence and website.
Chemung County Chamber of Commerce
Long Run Communications has provided numerous services to this active Chamber, including online meeting hosting and facilitation of adult education programs aimed at supporting entrepreneurs AND emerging leaders from area businesses and organizations.
Steuben County Industrial Development Agency (IDA)
This IDA partnered with Long Run Communications for media relations, publications, event support, website updates, social media, and more. We also worked with organization leaders and other municipal officials to support Hornell, NY in its winning bid for $10 million from New York State’s “Downtown Revitalization Initiative” program in 2019. This was a winning partnership with presentation specialists CHABOS, Inc.
Credit Union National Association
I worked with CUNA to develop a series of “Credit Union Rock Star” profiles for a feature on outstanding industry leaders. They were published in the national organization’s online magazine.
